Prenup shoot gone wrong?

It came across my facebook wall early this morning and here’s the complete link to read the rest of the article.

This is about a prenuptial shoot that was taken at the Libingan ng mga Bayani which gained a lot of mixed reactions in the online world.  Even AFP disclosed their disappointment over the matter.  Saying that Libingan ng mga Bayani should be treated with respect and honor.  This is the resting place of Filipino soldiers and dignitaries.

Here are some of the pictures taken of the controversial prenup shoot:

Being a photography enthusiast/hobbyist myself, I have my own reaction on this.  I have seen a lot of prenuptial shoots but I prefer not to disclose it in this post.  😛

  1. for me, ok naman yung shoot. not really nakakasira sa place.

besides, maganda naman at creative ang shots.

it just so happen na popular ung cemetery

    • I saw this in interaksyon.com of TV5.. Siguro nga they don’t have the intention.. but they should be more careful the next time.. I read na gusto talaga ng couple sa ganyang setting.. kaso the studio should’ve done more research or told LNMB na they”ll hold that kind of shoot.. para maayos ang lahat..

  3. laking factor ng concept. ang panget!!! i understand why nagrereact ng ganyan ang afp.

well in the 1st place, dapat hindi pinayagan magshoot jan.

    • Pero with the studio’s setup, parang ang hirap hindi mapansin ng shoot nila given na hindi sila pinayagan or pumuslit lang sila.. I know pwede naman magshoot dyan kasi I saw pics in DPP na nagphophotowalk dyan.. but not a pre nup shoot.. first time ko makakita ng ganyan..

  4. siguro nga it was done without much thinking na it would be controversial because of the place. yung parang “tara sa libingan ng mga bayani tayo!” yung ganun. I’m sure pati yung nag pre-nup nagulantang sa mga nangyari. hahaha!

    • I read na mejo “hilig” ng couple magpa shoot sa mga cemetery.. cguro to be different.. kaso ayan, it drawn attention kasi it probably irked some AFP officials..

  5. OMG.napost mo pala.buti nalang.kasi tinanggal naraw sa website nung photography stiudio at dapat naman,.I also find this offensive.kahit naman photographer tayo and we can play with creativity pero we should exercise constraint parin and good judgement.I think kabastusan parin sa place yang mga ginawa nila.and what’s with the damn drink?OMG–naka-inum ata sila nung pumunta dyan. who in his normal mind would do such an act?

    • hinanap ko talaga sya the moment the news broke.. I have mixed thoughts about it.. nothing personal but I think it was taken out of proportion na.. pag kasi lumabas na sa media ung ginawa mo and panget na ang unang dating, mahirap ng maturn around ung story eh.. They might not realize the effect until it happened.. a lesson learned is.. being creative is also a responsibility.. 🙂

  6. tsaka bat ganito—bat parang kuha lang ng hobbyist? ang pipitsugin ng mga pics.awts.sori ha.:D

  7. The shoot has some similar concepts with that of Jay (Kamikazee frontman) and Sarah Abad. Have you seen it? Not sure if that was a cemetery though. Saw it in MangoRed.

    • Yep.. I just saw it a few minutes ago hehe.. Cguro nga walang basagan ng trip.. but if gets out to the public, they should be able to deal with the criticisms, both good and bad.. and Aside from “just being different”.. I just don’t understand why cemetery of all places??? for a prenup or wedding? come on..

  8. I also don’t like the idea… wrong place sila… 🙂
